    2. [The Guardian] The Guardian view on privacy: a fundamental human: a fundamental human right / [가디언] 프라이버시에 대한 가디언의 시각: 근본적 인권 관리자 2019년 01월 22일

The discovery of a comprehensive hack of private documents from German politicians might have been the subject of considerable outrage. The German hack looks not so much amateurish as anarchistic and pointless. There is a naivety behind the belief that anything once secret becomes interesting when put on the internet which no amount of experience can dispel. It is attitude, more than hacks themselves, which makes these attacks dangerous to democracy. Society worries quite rightly a great deal about the effect on privacy of state surveillance, cyber attacks against government, industries and politicians. Ordinary people who can be embarrassed by privacy invasion need to be protected from this embarrassment.
