    [The New York Times] U.S. Justice Dept Meeting With State Officials Focuses on Data Privacy / [뉴욕 타임즈] 데이터 개인 정보 보호에 중점을 둔 미국 법무부 관계자와의 회의 관리자 2018년 11월 29일

    U.S. Justice Department meeting with state attorneys general focused on protecting consumer privacy when big technology companies amass data, but came to no immediate conclusions. Much of the discussion focused on whether concerns about collection of consumer data can be addressed using antitrust law.

     

    President of the American Antitrust Institute said, the easiest step would be for antitrust agencies to consider opposing mergers of companies that combine consumer data that can enhance market power.
